Sumatra coffees are typically described by their full body, more earthy flavors, distinct herbal tones, and low acidity. Roasted dark, this coffee is smooth with a heavy body that is sometimes even described as syrupy. Grown by a woman-run cooperative started in 2008, proceeds help create programs for health, education and public infrastructure projects that benefit all co-op members.
